The rate limit is the maximum number of requests that can be sent from a single IP address in five minutes. This value is continually evaluated, and requests will be blocked once this limit is reached. The IP address is automatically unblocked after it falls below the limit.
Production allows 5,000 requests per IP address (around 16 requests per minute).
